Meet Richelle
In a world that’s always so busy, let’s take some time together to slow down, connect, and reflect on what’s working and what’s not so we can create meaningful change. I believe therapy offers a unique environment for people ready to heal to have a space where they feel seen, heard, and supported, often empowering them to liberate themselves from experiences, trauma, challenges, relationships, or habits that once felt insurmountable.
As a therapist, I am not only here to help you reach your therapeutic goals but I will walk alongside you while you get there; after all, it’s often the journey that shapes us not the destination.
Background & Training
I have spent the last twelve years working within the administrative and project management side of healthcare. As a result, I learned I am most passionate about working 1-1 with people which is why I completed my M.A. in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University in 2025 and became a Registered Clinical Counsellor. I also have a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
I am currently enrolled in comprehensive EMDR training and feel strongly about using evidence-based techniques (EMDR, CBT, mindfulness and solutions focused approaches) to support my clients so they see real tangible change.
Counselling Profile
As a therapist, I help people to heal the parts of them that hinder their happiness and prevent them from being the best version of themselves often leading clients to living a more authentic or aligned lifestyle. I support individuals in doing so with empathy, curiosity, practicality, and connection.
Our View on Counselling
Counselling is a collaborative process. My empathetic and supportive approach helps clients to get curious in order to explore, heal, and overcome.
